The
onion plant or
allium cepa in botanical name is well-known everywhere in the world. It is used as spices in cooking.
Medicinal Use of Onion:
- As stimulant.
- Promotes the flow of urine.
- Promotes the removal of the mucous secretions from the bronchial tubes.
- Promotes menstrual flow.
- It soothes and protects the alimentary tract and relieves inflammation.
- Purifies the blood.
